Kochi: Sabareesh, 24, son of businessman Gokulam Gopalan, died here on Saturday following a car accident.
Sabareesh was driving the car when the incident occurred around 2 a.m. near Transformers and Electricals Ltd at Angamaly.
The car he was driving ran into a median and lost control.
Sabareesh was rushed to the Little Flower Hospital at Angamaly but could not be saved.
Nithin, son of Mr. Gopalan’s brother, was also inside the car when the accident occurred. He escaped with minor injuries. Police said that Sabareesh was on his way to Thrissur from the Gokulam Park Inn owned by the Gokulam group at Kaloor. He was the executive director of the Gokulam Group of Hotels after completing his hotel management programme. The cremation will take place at Vadakara
