The rain drops fall into the dry lands of Kerala starting from the first week of June. The winter and summer dried lands and vegetation are rejuvenates and people take sigh of relief. The water keeps on falling making the dried streams and channels full of water. The main rivers start fled, the dams are filling with spirit. The first few days see red water that is dust and dirt that was accumulated. Later the water streams turn plane and almost color less.

The monsoon season is one of the best seasons to visit Kerala. This water festival is a very rare astonishing site. The Kerala with the long sea shore of Arabian Sea and the Sahya Mountains gather the full water that contained in the monsoon winds. The southern India and west coast is the only place where you can enjoy the Monsoon with all its vigor and spirit.
